Dear Subscriber,
EventReporter 6.3 Service Pack 1 Patch has been released! This is
primarily a maintenance release. Some of the changes made are:
Features:
- There was an issue that prevented the "NT Event Type" property to be
correctly interpreted.
- Two new advanced options have been added to the Event Log Monitor
service. They were requested for a specific customer scenario, but could
also be generally useful:
1. Do NOT process existing entries when EventLog corruption occurs
(Event 1011 related)
2. Do NOT process existing entries on Service Startup

Instructions for Upgrading:
Before upgrading, stop the EventReporter Service through the client
interface (i.e. File -> Stop). Otherwise you would need to reboot your
machine after upgrading!
The EventReporter installer automatically detects that a prior
EventReporter version exist and makes an upgrade. You should get a
notification box from the installer after starting the EventReporter
setup that it performs an upgrade.
You can also easily backup your configuration for the worst case. To do
so:
1. Go to Computer Menu.
2. Choose "Export Settings to Registry-file" (Not Binary).
3. Save the registry file.
So you have your configuration on the safe side if anything goes wrong
:).
Please note: Registered users can use their current license with the SP1
Version.
Regards,
Tamsila Siddique.
