Oh, and I forgot to mention that recent builds loudly complain about config
errors on stderr when you do a real restart bit silently need to dump these
error messages to their respective bins (where experience tells nobody sees
them...) when doing restart-type HUP.
Maybe the result of this discussion is that I should really drop that
misfeature in v5.
Any violent opponents?
