Hi Tomas,

that's good news.
FWIW the current version in Debian unstable/testing is also 4.2.0, so
squeeze will also ship with at least 4.2.x and Ubuntu also made the
switch to rsyslog. Their next release 9.10 will have rsyslog 4.2.0 as
default syslog daemon.
