Also take notice of the fact that RHEL5.5 Beta includes rsyslog 3.22 
because of previously reported issues:

We are happy that Red Hat support worked with us in resolving our 
issues and are pleased with this outcome.

These updates are also expected in the upcoming CentOS releases.
