The log is stored in a MySQL database. I use LogAnalyzer for browsing the logs. Everything seems to work really well, but I notice that when I perform searches the GUI seems to present the results in an order I can't make any sense out of. It is not ordered by time (or date), and I can't seem to find any settings for this. Does anyone have any pointers? :-) Thanks //James From alorbach at adiscon.com Fri May 24 15:49:51 2013 From: alorbach at adiscon.com (Andre Lorbach) Date: Fri, 24 May 2013 15:49:51 +0200 Subject: [phpLogCon] Order of search output In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: <021be69df5ce87c2809a09039037cc2e@mail.gmail.com> Hi, all results are ordered by UID which means the order they came into the database. This can but does not have to match the actual timeline of the events. Currently it is not possible to order the records by a custom field like by date for example. But extending Loganalyzer to have a custom sorting field is possible, but requires some enhancements and changes within the Loganalyzer core.
