Hey,
I've created a centralized RSYSLOG server, which logs a few webservers. it
is set to store logs on a local MySQL DB.
The problem is that it also logs everything to its local /var/log/messages
which makes it grow quite fast...
is there a way to prevent that?

I'm using the new:
[code:3w4vvv29]
# rsyslogd -v
rsyslogd 7.6.3, compiled with:
        FEATURE_REGEXP: Yes
        FEATURE_LARGEFILE: No
        GSSAPI Kerberos 5 support: Yes
FEATURE_DEBUG (debug build, slow code): No
        32bit Atomic operations supported: Yes
        64bit Atomic operations supported: Yes
        Runtime Instrumentation (slow code): No
        uuid support: Yes
Number of Bits in RainerScript integers: 32 (due to too-old
json-c lib)

See http://www.rsyslog.com for more information.
[/code:3w4vvv29]

this is my /etc/rsyslog.conf file:
[code:3w4vvv29]
# rsyslog v5 configuration file
