Something is going wrong here.
I tried 8.2.0  on my Laptop and on the Instrument at work - both worked.
Then I was trying make it work on 5.8.10 and 7.2.4
I did not succeed and decided to return back to 8.2.0, but now 8.2.0 does
not work anymore. I am getting

I have in /etc/rsyslog.conf

SysSock.RateLimit.Interval="0") # turn off rate limiting
SysSock.Name=/dev/reallog
input(type="imuxsock" Socket="/dev/reallog" CreatePath="on")

I have jemalloc.i686 0:3.4.0-1.fc17      libgt.i686 0:0.3.11-1.el6     
liblogging.i686 0:1.0.4-1.el6      rsyslog.i686 0:8.2.0-2.el6     
Is rsyslog the package that does parsing?
What can be wrong?
I am reinstallin SW on the instrument now but it takes time to finish.
