This is a type on my end. everything running on port 15145. I changed it
away from  default 514 during troubleshooting. Like I said, default logs
(sshd, sudo, su, userdel) are making it over, but the text logs don't.

Here is my forwarder for nginx for example:

$InputFileName /opt/nginx/logs/ssl-access.log
$InputFileTag nginx-ssl-access:
$InputFileStateFile stat-nginx-ssl-access
$InputFileSeverity info
$InputFileFacility local7
$InputRunFileMonitor
