We're running rsyslogd 5.8.6 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Now, I need to use
omudpspoof. I feel kind of dumb asking, as I'm sure I've missed something
really obvious, but how in the world do I get it? There seem to be RPM
packages available, but I can't find a .deb or an apt package. I did find
something that claimed to be the source code for it, but I can't vouch for
the source, and my boss will be (quite correctly) apprehensive about using
that. So, where is omudpspoof? And is there some standard location where
these things are kept?
As you can readily see, I'm pretty new at this. Please pardon any dumb
questions and bear with me. I promise I don't ask without doing as much as
I can myself.
