Hi,

the configuration client needs access rights to the Netapp device as well,
so the user it runs with needs these rights or the verify button produces
this error. This is nothing you should consider a showstopper right now.
Often the configuration client runs with a restricted user or local admin
only, thus has not the access rights needed to access other devices. 

In this case, the easiest method is trial and error. So please start the
service and see if the Netapp Events get forwarded to your syslog
destination.
