I mean if you want to change the code so that rsyslog decides to lose data
in this case, you do not need to take care of any other cases. I could add
the necessary config plumbing after I receive your patch. I got the
impression that you know what you are doing and so hoped that you may be
able to craft a patch yourself. If not, no problem, but than it'll be
another three weeks or so before I can look at it (in that case, it may be
good to open a bug tracker).
I hope I made myself clear ;) Side-note: often it is quite easy for folks
to properly fix their problem, but they get stuck in the config plumbing
and that. Thus the suggestion.
