I am confused.... We are using rsyslog only as receiver (to receive
messages over tcp and log them into file). We have written our own tcp
client that sends multi-line message in [b:gousmlfs]rfc5425
format[/b:gousmlfs]. e.g.

[b:gousmlfs]185 <13>1 2014-03-24T07:52:38.686809Z localhost test_client - -
- This is a multi-line message part 1.\nThis is a multi-line message part
2.\nThis is a multi-line message part 3.[/b:gousmlfs]

I do not understand how can I set octet framing on for my sender
application..!
