When you use dynamic filenames to save the log data, there isn't a way to
limit the size of those files. You could could add the hour to the template
to create a different file every hour to keep the size down.

You could also configure rsyslog to compress the file as it's being written
(look at the omfile parameters and you probably want to change your
template to .log.gz)
