the look of it, as adding it makes no difference and that's with a full
capture from start of rsyslog running. Any idea what else I would need?

I've talked with the gnutls mailing list and added the environment variable
they have specified. They've said that I should get an error number to
stderr. It hasn't seemed to make any difference. I'm not sure where stderr
is going, but I've run the rsyslog manually and haven't seen any errors on
the console. I've also run rsyslog as usual (daemon) and haven't seen any
gnutls errors in /var/log/ . Any idea where stderr is going?

Any other ideas?
