We are definitely load balanced by region.  3 Regions in the USA and 1 in
Europe.  All other regions (Asia) and special data centers flow to the
closest region.  800,000 is the total number of syslog clients (rough
estimate give or take).  We've only begun to collect smart metrics on this,
so it may not be as accurate as it could be, but the number of logs per
second I am getting for the entire infra is about 210,000.  Divide that by
the 60 aggregators, and that's how many messages they're processing per
second each.  As far as bandwidth, probably about 60 million bytes per
second, if our counters are accurate.
