Hello,

How can I add an extra field to an rsyslog message that is forwarded over
UDP. Let's say for example I am doing this...

*.* @127.0.0.1:20001

It currently send a message of...

"Mar 11 16:31:40 localhost systemd: Unit fprintd.service entered failed
state."

I want to send a message of...

"Mar 11 16:31:40 localhost systemd: Unit fprintd.service entered failed
state. source_syslog"

Is this possible?

Add a field to a forwarded rsyslog message.
