Yeah, disabling liblogging-stdlog is a bad idea, it cuts of some reporting
feature. But it shouldn't be the problem here. It looks like configure does
not properly detect some OS features missing on the distro. But I need to
install SLES to see the problem myself. Maybe it would be a good idea to
create an issue tracker at rsyslog's github presence.
