Hi Rainer,
/tmp/rsyslog-8.9.0 # man recvmmsg
No manual entry for recvmmsg

about the disabling liblogging-stdlog
I disabled it because I've to install / upgrade alot more Packages to use
it.

I normaly use the default rsyslog Deamon which comes with SLES 11 ->
/sbin/rsyslogd -v
rsyslogd 5.10.1, compiled with:
        FEATURE_REGEXP: Yes
        FEATURE_LARGEFILE: No
        GSSAPI Kerberos 5 support: Yes
FEATURE_DEBUG (debug build, slow code): No
        32bit Atomic operations supported: Yes
        64bit Atomic operations supported: Yes
        Runtime Instrumentation (slow code): No
I write all the Messages to an Oracle DB. Now I've to install the DB on AIX
but keep the SLES Server for rsyslog
I thought it would be good to take a new Version when I touch it anyway.
But it seems to be a lot of work :-)
regards
brodmi
