try playing around with the rebindinterval settings. They force a
disconnect and reconnect ever X messages. That may be what you need.

If an ELB is forwarding an unknown protocol over TCP (which is what it's
doing in this case) and it changes it's IP without disconnecting the client
first, there is a serious problem and you are going to be loosing data
(unless you use RELP)
