MTU on the NIC is set to 9000 for jumbo frames on this particular segment.
Also, I have $MaxMessageSize set at the top but I was under the impression
after reading the documentation this was a receiving directive and not
having anything to do with transmission.

And my message template is " $template raw, "%rawmsg%  Is there another one
which will extend the datagram past 2048 perhaps?
