I was able to resolve to get the omhiredis module to compile on CentOS 6
with rsyslog v8.12.0 installed. I built the module from the v8.12.0 tag.

could not load module '/lib64/rsyslog/omhiredis.so', dlopen:
/lib64/rsyslog/omhiredis.so: undefined symbol:
redisConnectWithTimeout  [v8.12.0 try

$ ls -l  /lib64/rsyslog/omhiredis.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 52624 Sep 18 19:19
/lib64/rsyslog/omhiredis.so

Any suggestions on where to go with this?
