I would not expect this any time soon. afaik, you are the first to ask for
this feature. please file an enhancement request on github, but I would
expect that this would be a very low priority compared to other requests.

I've done a lot of logging work in banking environments at fairly high
volumes (100K logs/sec) and have never needed such capabilities, I just
transfer all the logs in real-time, delaying any logs has been
unacceptable.
