After the entire day I spent on troubleshooting, I came to know that syslog
polling is happening if I declare the source file location under /var/log.
i.e.: if I change $InputFileName /mnt/tibco/client1/logs/audit.log to
/var/log/audit.log, that's working. 

This is something I never expected. I have my logs stored on a central
storage location and a soft link to the file also not working. Syslog is
actually not polling from a soft linked file under /var/log.

Is there a workaround to specify different location other than /var/log ?
