[quote="dlang":2kztcipx]well, on my ubuntu desktop (which should be very
similar to your system)
/etc/init.d/rsyslog
containst the line
RSYSLOG_OPTIONS="-c5"
I would expect that this could override what you set in
/etc/default/rsyslog
but it really depends on exactly what the scripts do, look at the
/etc/init.d/rsyslog script and follow it's flow to see whe and if it pulls
in data from /etc/default/rsyslog[/quote:2kztcipx]
Hi dlang! Thanks for your answer!
Nope, my init script /etc/init.d/rsyslog doesn't contains RSYSLOG_OPTIONS,
but i tried to add [b:2kztcipx]RSYSLOG_OPTIONS="xn"[/b:2kztcipx] or
[b:2kztcipx]"-xn"[/b:2kztcipx] and it's has no effect.
More ideas?
