Now it seems your solution has begat another problem.

I have the correct syntax

$UDPServerRun 514
$UDPServerRun 11514


But now in /var/log/messages I have the following three lines:

bind:  Permission denied
bind:  Permission denied
No UDP listen socket could successfully be initialized, message reception
via UDP disabled.


But if I only try to listen on one port, it works.

This happens if I try using rulesets or without rulesets.

Why can't I listen on two ports?
