Thanks for the answer.

I first tried today syslog-ng on client side and as well I haven't got all
log messages to the server. I have to understand better what are the
plattform differences.
Already I saw that the TCP Windows size is very high on the new plattform
and in the hanging case I saw with tcpdump, that a sequence did not get a
ACK from the server at all.

I will post here if I found an answer. rsyslogd can not be "blamed" imho
