Thanks for the response. logrotate should restart rsyslog, but it's not
because it points to "syslog.pid" and rsyslog is using "rsyslog.pid".
The desired "syslog.pid" is specified using the -i option in
/etc/init.d/rsyslog, but for some reason it's being ignored.
Is this a bug? Has anyone else encountered this?
