Good afternoon. I have posted this as a new thread as it looks like a new
take (for me). I hope someone has some thoughts on this. This issue is
that I see my rsyslog message source send a packet to the rsyslog server on
tcp 10514. I see it leaving the source (from a tcpdump) and I see it
arriving in the rsyslog server on tcp 10514 with the SYN flag set. And I
can see in the server with netstat -taupn or netstat -alt that the listener
in the server is shown as listening. But I never see a SYN/SYN ACK leaving
the server back to the source. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to
troubleshoot this further?
Thank you in advance, and regards,
Atticus
