first off, omelasticsearch is designed to go to elasticsearch, not to
logstash

decide what you are trying to do rsyslog -> elasticsearch or rsyslog ->
logstash -> elasticsearch

troubleshoot each hop, write the data to a file in the same format that you
would use to deliver it to the next hop and show a few lines of it

doing a http call to the logstash input makes no sense.

personally I don't see any value being added by logstash in this setup.
