State information is kept in the .qi file. It has the basename that you
configured.

Note that if you force-abort rsyslog, it has no chance to write and/or
update the .qi file; in the worst case this can cause queue corruption.
Proper shutdown is important. Version 8.21 has additional hardening for
this case.
