I've set up my rsyslog (version 5.8.6 on Ubuntu 12.04), to forward all logs
to a remote server via UDP. This is working fine. However I noticed that
the client rsyslog is now listening on an ephemeral UDP port. Anyone know
why this is?
If I actually do need this, I don't like that it is listening on all
interfaces 0.0.0.0, does anything know how I can restrict it to a specific
IP address?
