you use it.

To write my logs to database i have installed rsyslog-mysql package and
loaded ommysql module in rsyslog.conf:

$ModLoad ommysql
*.* :ommysql:localhost,Syslog,rsyslog,MYSQLPASSWORD

Thats it. The logs are writing in Syslog database in MySQL.

The problem is probably that you aren't including the hostname in the
template

Could you tell me, please? Where do i have to include the hostname in
template? I included this line in template
/var/log/rsyslog_custom/%HOSTNAME%/%PROGRAMNAME%.log in rsyslog.conf, is it
wrong?
