that sounds like an issue with your MySql config. Nothing in rsyslog does
anything that would mess with triggers.

I would suggest that you document exactly what the insert commands you are
sending to MySQL are (writing to a local file with the tempalte that you
use for writing to ommysql is a good way to do this) and then contact your
database support folks.
