The rsyslogd is on newhermes, Mysql is on taurus and the user is:
hermesvsftplog

When I'm on newhermes and login to Mysql on taurus, all of my CLI inserts
of exactly the same record data are immediately updated by our before
insert trigger: ADD_6_FIELDS

When I generate an rsyslog event on newhermes, all of the default record
data is inserted into Mysql on taurus; but, the trigger does NOT update (7)
custom fields - same fields that ARE successfully updated by ADD_6_FIELDS
while inserting exact same record data via CLI

What am I missing?
