The rsyslogd is on newhermes, Mysql is on taurus and the user is:
hermesvsftplog

When I'm on newhermes and login to Mysql on taurus, as hermesvsftplog, all
of my CLI inserts of exactly the same record data are immediately updated
by our before insert trigger: ADD_6_FIELDS

When I generate an rsyslog event on newhermes, all of the default record
data is inserted into Mysql on taurus; but, the trigger does NOT update (7)
custom fields - same fields that ARE successfully updated by ADD_6_FIELDS
while inserting exact same record data via CLI

What am I missing?
