Hello evryone,
I have some questions regarding rsyslog queue mechanism.
First is there a way to trigger the file queue registration, I known that
there is the 'queue.saveonshutdown' but what if I want to trigger it each
period of time not only in shutdown (in case the the remote host is not
reachable of course) but in case my server crash for some reason (power
cut) ?
And in case I have no free disk space what exactly happen with the disk
queue ? I have seen that rsyslog don't register the logs received in this
case, is he doing the same (nothing) with the disk queue (the sender) ?
Edit : In this case can I tell him to remove the old messages ?
Thanks in advance.
