well, I would start by adding -c5 to the command line like the error tells
you to.

beyond that, there are a couple issues

1. 5.8 is ancient, current is 8.21

2. you don't show us your config, so all we can tell you is the same thing
the error messages are, that you have errors in your config. but we can't
guess what they are without seeing the config.

file inputs in 5.8 are really messy, you really should upgrade to something
closer to current and use the new syntax that is much clearer as to what's
happening.
